A Birthday Card for Daniel

I came across an article on Cork BEO by Joe O’Shea about a boy Daniel O’Sullivan who has a rare virus called AD 14 that affects the lungs. He is waiting on a double lung transplant. His mother Deirdre was looking for people to send birthday cards to him for his upcoming 10th birthday on June 24th. I had never mailed a birthday card to someone I’ve never met so I thought I would say yes to it. After mailing the card I saw a picture of Daniel on the front of the Irish Examiner. He was pictured with a pile of cards and I thought he might not mind one more.
